9th Annual Up & Coming Artist Show & Contest
We are now taking submissions for the 9th Annual Up & Coming Artist Show!! Mahaska County students in Kindergarten through 5th grade are invited to participate. If you are a business interested in sponsoring or hosting the show please email faceofmahaska@gmail.com.
Submit original two-dimensional artwork (not to exceed 12” x 18”) to FACE of Mahaska County by Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Drop off at the Oskaloosa Chamber office or your local art teacher.
Please attach an entry form (or equivalent information) to the artwork.
Public Reception: Wednesday, June 11, 2014 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the Iowa Building (across from Brown's Shoes) to kick off the Skunk River Arts Festival. We hope you’ll join us!
Top 20 pieces will be chosen by FACE and matted for display at Art on the Square and to travel to area businesses throughout the summer. Non-traveling artwork may be picked up at the Oskaloosa Art Center (1701 3rd Ave E, Suite 3) after June 14th.
FACE will contact artists when traveling artwork is ready for pick-up.
