Opportunities Galore!

Check out what we have coming up! Oskaloosa Holiday Happenings & Main Street's 28th Annual Christmas Parade are JUST around the corner! (I know! We can't believe it either!) Events will be taking place the beginning of December and we couldn't be more excited to be taking part!

For the first time in FACE history we will be participating in the lighted Christmas Parade

If you would be interested in spreading HOLIDAY CHEER with us and getting involved with a super fun group, we'd love some help creating our parade entry and/or filling it with smiling faces. Please call the Oskaloosa Art Center at 641-676-4694 or email faceofmahaska@gmail.com. We'll be getting together Thursday, Nov 19th at 4:30 at the Oskaloosa Art Center so feel free to just stop by. Can't make it? Give us a call and we'll make sure you have a space on parade day!

We will also be at The Old Fashioned Christmas Festival on Friday, Dec 4th at Penn Central Mall. We'll be getting crafty! Come create with us! Should be a good ol' time!

And my final announcement (just for today!), we are also on the look out for local artists! If you are what some may call "artsy fartsy" or you know someone that is, please spread the word and get them in contact with us. Please share our info, send us an email, drag them a long to an event, whatever works! We love to share the talents of local and regional artists of all types and we're scheduling gallery shows for the future. Plus we just love to see cool art and meet new people!
